Our Water Service Features Bottleless Water Coolers & Filtered Drinking Water

Bottleless Water Coolers:

• Traditional water dispensers use cumbersome 5 gallon water bottles that weigh 40 lbs as a water reservoir. Cool Planet Water bottleless water coolers are  connected to the building’s water system via a thin polypropylene pipe. The water is passed through a series of filters or membranes that results in clear, pure drinking water without any sediment or chlorine taste or smell and in the case of reverse osmosis, a wide array of contaminants should they exist in the local water supply.

• Bottleless Water Coolers are always full. They refill automatically and provide an unlimited and constant supply of purified drinking water that can be served to you cooled, at room temperature or hot. They can employ various different types of purification ranging from Carbon Filtered to Reverse Osmosis to the addition of Ultra Violet (UV).

• Bottleless Water Coolers operate in exactly the same way as traditional bottled water coolers. They dispense great tasting drinking water at the press of a button or a spigot. They just don’t need to have bottles changed on a regular basis.

Filtered Water

• US consumers have tragically and understandably lost
confidence in using municipal tap water for drinking. Over the
past few years they have increasingly opted for
outrageously expensive and inconvenient bottled water
alternatives and an industry has arisen around packaging water
and delivering it to customers in plastic bottles, large and small,
at a cost of up to $10 per gallon. Amazing!

• In the 1970s the US government passed legislation requiring all
municipalities to provide disinfected drinking water to residents
and the disinfectant of choice for most cities is still chlorine and
hence the undesirable taste and odors in tap water. Today this
is the most common complaint against municipal drinking water.

• In 2008, the U.S. Conference of Mayors supported a resolution
that urged all mayors to phase out, “where feasible,” bottled
water and support municipal water and a backlash against the
waste and expense of bottled water continued to spread.
